Here's my new favourite wedding cake! The top two tiers were painted with pearl lustre. The damask pattern on the second tier was done with white royal icing so it stood out against the pearl finish. The bottom tier was covered with hundreds of scrunch flowers. I used a six petal cutter and each flower was dusted individually before it was applied to the cake so they shimmered in the light. The happy couple chose red velvet, marble mud and Jaffa mud for their flavours.
