This was made for my son as a last minute birthday cake , every character is made of cake. The watermelon was 10 in. long and the potato was 8 in. long. The fruit cocktail bird and the walrus meatball are cake balls covered in fondant. I ran out of time and my son wanted his name on the cake with his age so I made the sign with paper and stuck it in fondant to hold it up. I would have used gumpaste for the sign if I had, had more time. I think it turned out well since I only had a few small clear pictures from the net to work with
