Simply Sweet

This was my final cake for my Wilton III class. I was inspired by the cake on the cover of the Wilton's Romantic wedding cakes book. I am making a cake for my brother-in-law's wedding this June. I took the Wilton classes to get ready for his wedding cake. His future bride saw the photos of this cake and absolutely loved it and wanted it for their wedding. It will be a 3-tier version of this one. I used my homemade marshmallow fondant and made the gum paste roses myself. That was so much fun!

thanks Isawyer :) It's my new found talent :) I always love to bake but never thought I could decorate. When I was asked to do a wedding cake I was flattered ( and quite freaked out too). I immediately went to sign up for classes.
