This was a birthday cake I made for my mom. It was my first "stacked" cake. Bottom was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. And the top was yellow cake with buttercream filling.

Wonderful job, it is very pretty! I am still to scared to try a stacked. Did you use dowls or just place it on top?

I had dowls, but when I went to use them I couldn't find them. But I had lollipop sticks from when I made some candy. So I cut those up and used them.
