Sorry for the poor lighting. Vanilla Buttercream and used brown petal dust to texture and color the feathers around the eye top of beak and the neck. The eye is colored piping gel for a glassy look. The flag is supposed to be waving which is why you don't see all the starts and they are in the shape they are (it's the way the pattern looked, I should have adjusted it to look better though). The flag was piped into the pattern using poured fondant in a non-conventional way. I did it for the shine factor. I think it turned out pretty well. :-)
