I had the privilege of being asked to create a cake for a retiring Veteran who was also an ex-Marine as well. It was an honor to bake for one of our country's finest. This was my first attempt at making an eagle and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip filling and all gumpaste decorations.
