This is a better view of the Birthday presents cake I did for an Aunts 46th birthday. It was chocolate cakes with whipped cream icing airbrushed differant colors and fondant gift tag.
Excellent job! The colors look great and I really like the variety of techniques you used on them to depict different wrappings. I really like the middle one. The smoothing is super on them all!
I use a stabilized whipped cream recipe.. I posted a recipe in the forum after you did for "whipped cream icing" mine has gelatin not piping gel.I find it holds up very well.

Is the whipped cream you used anything like the bettercreme or Wilton's whipped icing?
I used real heavy cream whipped cream, just added sugar and stablized it with gelatin. It works well for me.
