Olympics 2006
The end of the Olympics always makes me sad it's over. I made this cake to commemorate this year's games. Chocolate cake, coconut and almond flavored buttercream. Gumpaste medals and flames. Fondant ribbons and rings. I will NEVER make anything like this out of fondant again! Should have piped in either royal or FBCT.

Great job. I think the fondant pieces look great. The metal colors turned out really well and the flames are really nice coming up at the corners.
