Little Mermaid Cake
I did this cake for my niece Jacqueline on her 4th birthday. I am still a novice, this is my 9th cake (so far I have only done cakes for family), but this is my favorite so far. It is a chocolate and white layer cake with chocolate buttercream filling and buttercream icing.
very nice...I like the tiered look with the toys, gives it more demension than a flat sheet. I have done dora and spongebob and the four princesses this way also.Bet she was thrilled!

hhon378...thank you so much. The back drop is simply a round that is cut in half and stacked on top. I supported it with a dowel because I was afraid it might fall or lean too much. It was surprised at how easy it really was.
