First time making roses. My sister saw it the next day and started planning my brothers' weddings, even though they don't even have girlfriends yet! :P
I have a spatula that's about 9 inches long...one swipe on top...let it crust over....10 minutes or so...and then used the waxed paper to finish smoothing it out :D. I't's the Wilton trick I learned in the first class, and I can honestly say it's the best course in the world :P
And I'd like to say "Thank you" to everyone who has provided feedback on my cake. Everyone is so helpful and supportive on this site. :D
