If I remember right this is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing. I made a pattern for the flames. I am an Ammo Tech in the Marine Corps and the bursting bomb is kind of a symbol for us. A co-worker of mine was leaving the ammo field for a 3yr tour of duty overseas guarding our embassies, so I made this farewell cake for him. This is kind of my first cake.
