Birthday cake for a friend who plays floorball.

Cake board is covered in fondant, etched to mark the wood boards, then painted with a mixture of vodka and food coloring to look like wood (in this case, a wood floor, because of the sport). Floorball stick is a long cake dowel rod covered in fondant; paddle part is gumpaste and fondant. Floorball is gumpaste.

Cake is designed to look like a folded jersey for their team, with the birthday boy's name on the shirt tag. Yellow cake with dark chocolate buttercream, covered and decorated with fondant. (Folded T-shirt inspired by a cake from Cake is Life)
