This is my first attempt at a doll cake (and first attempt at piping small details) and I did not have any special pans so I used a pyrex bowl and 8" round pan torted and filled. I used fondant to make her clothing and apron (took almost an entire bottle of Wilton Red Red to get the color of her dress!). Hair, decorative trimming and her hair is all almond buttercream. I did make a pair of glasses out of an ornament hook but the center piece kept coming lose so gave up on them. This was a very fun cake to make!
