Blue Basket Weave With Daisies
This was for my father in law's 88th birthday. The weave is one of my very favorite looks so I am thrilled to be learning it finally. I was intimidated by it for a long time, silly as that may sound. I didn't complete the second Wilton class so missed the lesson on doing this technique. I love it but it's hard on my hands. Maybe my icing is too stiff. I'll get it right one day.

Thank you very much! I think I'm hooked on the weave. It's long been my favorite but I was too intimidated by how hard it looked to try it. The color is delphinium blue. I have finally learned to stop coloring just short of the shade I want to allow it to deepen. This blue turned out exactly like it was in the Wilton book. I was very pleasantly surprised.
