Sweet 16 cake for music-lover. I put a black circle of fondant on top of the bottom tier, then covered the sides with rectangle pieces of white fondant to resemble piano keys. I then added the black keys. The top tier was covered in pink fondant, with buttercream scrollwork. The ribbon was black fondant, with pink fondant circles added on top. I handpainted the music notes on the bow loops with RI before assembling the bow. Thanks to The Sugartree for the inspiration!
