At the last minute I was asked to make a cake for my niece. Thankfully, I already had an 8" round cake baked. This is my first purse cake! Vanilla cake, chocolate buttercream, and chocolate fondant. I cut the sides off and stood the cake onto dowels. I painted the fondant with gumpaste glue and edible glitter. Handle is made with floral wire and balls of gumpaste. All edible handmade details painted with vodka and luster dust. Not too bad for one days notice. Happy Birthday Maggie!
