I made this cake for a little boy named Harold. His parents loved the book "Harold and the Purple Crayon" so I recreated their favorite parts of the book. The cake is chocolate blackout with an oreo cream filling and chocolate swiss merenge buttercream frosting. The cake is covered with fondant and the decorations are gumpaste.
