This was for my friend's daughter's 5th birthday. She wanted a princess cake complete with carriage on top. I had never made a carriage before, but I thought it came out nice. I was pleased with the crown on top, too, which was made with a gumpaste/fondant mixture that I let dry wrapped around a tall tea glass.
