So, while visiting my sister in Lodi, we went to a chilie's restraunt for dinner. (the fam) and it just so happened to be across from a Michaels. So, after dinner I dragged the whole shebang into the store, and I immediately knew what i wanted. It was a 3-D mini bear mold. My parents bought it, but i had to pay it off, two dollars every week for 6 weeks. As soon as i got into the car, i opened it right away. I mean who in the world wouldn't want to open this thing? Well, the next day i went to walmart and bought a cake mix. the first two cakes i made were pretty bad. so i gave them away to various members of my family. Since the pan only required one cup of batter mix, i made two of these cakes, and i got to keep both of them! I've made cakes in the past for birthdays & i thought this was a pretty cute cake! First i iced it in chocolate decorators icing. Then i used cheerios for the nose, eyes, ears, & the paws, and i put mini chocolate chips in the middle of them. Tehn to finish it off i put Licorice to make the legs and paws of the bear visible. it was my first 3-D cake & i thought i did pretty good. how about you? Pleese comment. Thank you very much! =D
