This cake is our Grand Marnier with our fresh lemon curd. It is covered in trailing chains of stephanotis, cala lilies, babies breath, stephanotis buds, apple blossom buds, wired ribbons, small lights, and vines. The topper is filled with the same flowers all covered in mother of pearl luster dust. The lily centers are dusted thickly with a lemon yellow luster dust to appear like falling pollen, along with a disco dust on each hand made leaf to give them a fairy tale appearance. The giant lilies at the bottom were cut with a 6" heart shaped cake pan. The entire floral work was made so that it could be removed in only two pieces, the topper and the chains, and laid upon the table as a center piece while the cake was cut. It is fondanted with hand colored sage green FondX rolled on shortening to give it is shiny appearance which reflected the lights in the floral chains beautifully.
