Ribbon cake 8". Covered in b.c. Made this cake for my husbands 54th Birthday. Was inspired by some cakes on this site. thanks guys. Had a lot of fun. The handle was made with RKT and covered in fondant. Each time i opened the front door to let the guests in the handle kept falling even though i placed skewers in to keep it in place. I think it was too heavy. the beer (pouring out of the can) was made with over cooked sugar syrup. poured it on to some baking paper and placed a dowel over it. when it was almost set, then i rolled it and moulded it to shape. Not the best, but my husband and guests were thrilled as they hadnt seen one like this before.
