2 flags draped over a stacked cake. 2nd time using rice paper. This time I needed to bend the fondant that the rice paper was adhered to and found that it doesn't like to bend! Read "somewhere" that usiing crisco brushed on fondant would help it stick. When that didn't work I took more advise and tried corn syrup with alittle water and brushed that on the fondant. The rice paper got very shiny in some spots as if it was going to melt and the rice paper started to develop crack lines due to bending the fondant. Very tricky stuff, anyone have any tips?
