This cake was made for my twin nephew's 5th birthday. They wanted bugs and monsters and could'nt decide so we did both! The monsters are cupcakes which I got the idea from the "Hello Cupcake" book. I placed gummy bugs and worms all around and even made some ants out of chocolate covered peanuts. I made one monster fishing (Swedish Fish candy) and the other has a fruit roll-up tongue trying to catch the ants marching out of their ant hill. I made several other monster cupcakes and placed them around the cake. This was fun to do and the boys loved it! TFL
