hand painted top tier to look like an old pearl snap shirt with yellow roses, second tier is a "jeans" tier hand painted to replicate worn old jeans with pockets and belt loops for the belt...... gum paste hand made sugar buckle bottom tier is to look like leather- like books but with a couple of stars and gold accents. this was the 2nd cake i ever did in my life.... and it was for my husband's 30th birthday.... this cake got the ball rolling for me. people started asking about my cakes, so i had to make business cards that week and send them back to the restaurant for people to pick them up! and here i am today! ( that was 1 1/2 years ago!)
