Blossoms On Tiffany

Blossoms On Tiffany on Cake Central

This is a coconut cream pie cake covered on Tiffany Blue fondant. Top was made with half ball pan over a 6". Base was an 8" dummy. Think I used the petunia cutter for the blossoms and rolled out fondant stems...Dusted with Super Pearl dust...

Forgot to mention that this cake was made for my sisters 15th Wedding Anniversary; unfortunately all she got was a picture as she lives in PR ;-) And I know...doesn't look like an Ann. cake, but you know me...The easier and simpler the better :D

what are the centres of the flowers? They seem almost like clear beading. OOPS! I just saw the next close-up photo and they are beads. That's a clever idea!!

Thank you all! My sister says that the 15th yr is represented with crystals...She wanted a 15 in crystal beads, and i was willing to do it just because she asked ;-), but didnt' have time...So added the crystals in the centers of the blossoms.

Well..by accident really...I always wondered how I could get a tiffany blue, but had no clue...Yesterday I mixed about 3 parts Royal Blue and about 2 toothpicks of delphinium blue...but then I played more with it, but basically just those two colors...More royal blue than delph.

Oh so beautiful! I used to have a Tiffany blue box...until my son broke it (he was 2 at the time)....$50 down the drain...they no longer make the size I had!
