I have seen other's here on CC do this effect with the petals and I LOVE it. So I tried my hand at it. I am still very new to working with fondant, this is my 3rd fondant cake. But I am very happy with the outcome. The cake underneath is chocolate buttercream and a rich chocolate cake. This was my first time putting chocolate under the mmfondant and I was so happy that none of it showed through :) This was for a birthday for my coworker.
