This is the very first cake I ever made. I hosted a baby shower at my house and I wanted to make a nice cake because I couldn't spend a lot of money on one. It was my first attempt at working with fondant, and boy was that an experience. I had no idea how time consuming this project would be and I was literally sticking on polka dots as guests started arriving. Nevertheless, it turned out fine, especially for my first attempt.
