A neighbor wanted a sushi cake for her son's 7th birthday so that is what I did. This is a vanilla cake covered in chocolate buttercream covered in fondant. Most of the sushi pieces are fondant. but the "California rolls" are pound cake with Mike n Ikes and coconut and wrapped in green fruit roll. The chopsticks were also fondant. The soy sauce is melted chocolate.
