This cake was made for a Sergeant who retired after 28+ years of service. He requested yellow with strawberry filling. The 12" and 10" cakes were covered in bc. I molded the hat out of RKT (a first time ever working with RKT for me!) and then covered with black fondant and added the shield and band. The badges on the front were made out of gum paste. The handcuffs were also out of gum paste. I did basket-weave belt (the black section) on the front. to represent his duty belt..
