This cake was made for my Mother, for Mother's day. The gift box top was made of gum paste, all flowers and butterflies were also made of gum paste and hand painted with non toxic pastel chalks, this gave them a very realistic look. The pearl necklace was also made from gum paste and strung on a very thin wire, and brushed with pearl dust.
