White Baptism Cake

My first GANACHE cake!!!! I finally plucked up courage and did the ganache! It was a messy business but the edges were fantastic! I wasnt very easy to apply the fondant though as it tore twice before i got on....tore on the very sharp top egdes!!! LOL. I could be a a convert if only i can get the chocolates cheaper...worked out too pricey for just a 10" round cake or maybe I put on too much in the first place.

Back to the cake, its a 10" round cake covered in dark chocolate Ganache and then white fondant, quilted with a diamond cookie cutter (from a set that I bought from Sharon Zambito) and with ribbon roses. This design i adapted from andreas sweet cakes (you can see her cakes in Flickr) I love her work! TFL.
