My parents and I just made this cake for my sisters wedding. It is a 4 tier square wedding cake. The bottom is a 12 inch white cake with strawberry filling, the next one up is a 10 inch chocolate cake with pineapple filling, then the next one is an 8 inch spice cake with apple filling, and the top tier is a 6 inch white cake with lemon filling. We first covered the tiers in a layer of butter cream, and then covered in fondant. I used impression mats to get the quilting pattern as well as the heart scroll patterns onto the fondant, and then we went over the scroll pattern with black royal icing, and used white icing to hod the white edible pearls onto the quilting patterned cakes.
