for my son's 1st birthday I did a monkey theme since we have called him monkey from day one lol, all 3 cakes are banana cream cake (recipe from here) and filled with homemade banana buttercream, the yellow cake on top is iced with homemade almond buttercream and the bigger one is iced with homemade chocolate buttercream, blue decorations are marshmallow fondant (1st time giving that a try) the smash cake is a shaped cake ball with the banana filling as the icing (just added more food color to it)
