This is the graduation cake I made for my daughters High School Graduation. The humidity was a real problem and the cake leans a bit.....but thought someone would enjoy the spirit of the cake. One day I'll make another, now that I have more experience. The figure represents my daughter & is made from a combination of Gumpaste & Fondant. the Scroll was Gumpaste & the Mortarboard Grad Cap was a piece of Matt Board covered in Fondant & hand painted with Zebra stripes. The tassel was from the Dollar Store. All in all, it was a fun cake.
