This cake was created for a man's 70th birthday. He has raced cars all his life and his daughters wanted a cake created around his own drag race car. They wanted a car replica he could keep, so the car was made out of low temp clay and hand painted. I don't have a lot of experience with this and it was very time consuming, but they were very pleased with the results and I am told he now proudly displays his "car" in his shop.
