For her fourth birthday my daughter wanted a "bat" party. Using this cake as a theme, we managed to make a girly bat cake and party. The cake is made using mixes, and each layer is covered in colored fondant. The letters and shapes are cut out of fondant, except for the bats, which are actually brads that I bought at a scrapbook store around Halloween. This cake was very simple to make, but I thought it came out really cute!
