Thanks for your comments! This cake was really easy. It is made up of two 9 x2" round cakes and one 6x2" round cake. The brim is a 14" cake board covered in fondant. Stack the 9" cakes on the bottom and the 6" on top. Once stacked, I trimmed the 3 layers down the sides at a slight angle, especially the top edge of the top 9" cake to meet up with the 6" a little better. Frosted and covered the cake in green fondant and attached a fondant ribbon and buckle.

This is my fave St. Patty's hat! Did you cover the cakeboard in green fondant for the brim? Is the hat carved cake?
