This cake was for a little girl who loves being a girly girl but is also a little bit of a tomboy. She loves going out with her dad to work with the animals and do chores. She loves high heels and her gumboots. It was a challenge to bring these two elements together. Her mom wanted her on the cake with her favorite cow. She wanted it to be a girly cake but also have some of the tomboy elements. So I put the mud on the top and put the girl in her gumboots and jeans but also put a tutu on her with a tiara and designer bag. I put the muddy footprints along the bottom hoping to bring it all together.
