The party was an all day drop in so I tried to make the cake somple so that it could be cut and served to guests, yet still be showy late in the day. Simple shee cake with and the mortar board is a half a ball pan covered in black fondant with the top made out of cardbord covered in fondant as well. The tassle is fondant.
