This is a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" kind of cake. A friend of mind wanted me to make his wife a birthday cake, I was happy to oblige. She loves Llama's from the movie Napolean Dynamite and is constantly working 24 hours a day (she is an attorney). He wanted a Llama in bed, with a laptop. This is what I came up with. It is French Vanilla pound cake, with buttercream and chocolate ganache filling. The headboard is gumpaste. The Llama, which looks like a long haired donkey to me, is made of 50/50 gumpaste/fondant. Quilted the bed and used edible pearls. It was a Hoot to make!
