My 8 yr old son requested a skateboard bday cake this year. First time using fondant (used Duffs) and I was really nervous. I tried covering wooden dowels with fondant for the axels, but spent waayyy too much time trying to get it right wished I had a CC'er here to show me how!! Also, I realized afterwards that I made 4 trucks instead of 2, but my son didn't notice so it's all good.
