So, this was a birthday cake for a friend of mine that I finished earlier today. He loves the "V for Vendetta" movie and his wife had the wonderful idea for me to try making the Guy Fawkes mask into his birthday cake. So, I made a mold from the mask that he has and baked it. Used some pre-made fondant for the first time. First time really working with fondant in fact. Love it! Don't know how I've gotten along without it! It's red velvet with fondant. I painted on the colors and I'm quite happy with how it came out. Obviously there is room to improve, however. So, suggestions are always welcome!
