This is my absolute favourite cake! I made this for my youngest daughter's 2nd birthday. It was based on her favourite bed time book, 'Sharing a Shell' by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Lydia Monks. This cake was a real labour of love and she absolutely LOVED it. The cake was an 8" round, all of the figures were fondant and the sand was brown sugar.
