80Th Birthday
I made this cake for my uncle's 80th birthday today. It is a 9x13 sheet on top of a 14x22 sheet. The flag was made of SatinIce fondant. The semicircle is a copy of his Army patch. I had a fit with the flag, the pieces dried out some while I cut others and they just wouldn't stick back together. I managed to salvage it but I was in tears. As usual, I am the worst critic. Thankfully the pictures look better than the actual cake did.
