This was my very first Birthday cake. It's just a Vanilla Cake with Vanilla buttercream icing. I used gumpaste to make the penguins and fondant for the "snow" and I piped the lettering. That could have been better but when I got to that part my hands were shaking sooo bad. It's not perfect but for my first one I don't think I did a bad job! I used the Viva method too to get the icing smooth. It was easier than I thought! The rest of it, not so much :)
