I carved this pumpkin out of 2 dome spice cakes. I baked them in pyrex bowls. The bottom cake was right side up and the top cake was the bowl upside down. I torted and filled with cream cheese icing. I cut little V shapes down the sides, covered in the cream cheese icing and covered in orange colored MMF. The stem was made from brown MMF that I had rolled into snakes and then twisted together. I then mixed red, and yellow dust along with a little cocoa powder to get a light brownish orange color and painted the ridges. This cake was donated to my daughters schools fall festival.
