My son wanted his graduation to be a Mardi Gras theme but they voted for Bollywood instead. So, I had a Mardi Gras birthday party for him the year before. Lemon and red velvet cakes with fondant. Fondant masks around the sides. Both masks were made out of gumpaste and hand painted with luster dust/royal icing.
