This cake was for a man who was celebrating his 50th birthday! I was given a napkin to match the cake to and I think I did a pretty good job. The cake is iced in vanilla buttercream. The black paisleys and ribbon with floral accents at the bottom are all fondant. The detail on the paisleys was hand piped - not the cleanest in the world but it went really well with the napkins and decor. It was very time consuming but the end result was worth it.
