Dr. Pepper Can Cake

My oldest grandson likes brownies more than cake so I made four 6" layers of brownie cake, stacked them and then cut it in half vertically. I only used seven half layers to keep the can in proportion. I had to trim the edges as brownie cake has to cook longer than cakes and the edges tend to get hard. I used chocolate bc between the layers and then put a thin coat on the "can" before covering with fondant. Everything is etible fondant except for the gumpaste pull tab. The black highlighting was made from the chocolate bc tinted black. (All fondant was cut by hand)
