This was more of a difficult cake for me. It was an egg and nut free cake, making the texture more of a difficult nature for stacking and shaping. It was more crumbly than my normal good and trusty recipes. It still turned out well. It is a carved 8" chocolate cake, coated in buttercream and covered in MMF. The decorations, ladder included, are MMF. I used Nu-silver luster dust for the silver decorations and loved working with it. I looked and looked for a cute fire truck design and found one from Spring Lake Cakes. It was a larger version than the one I made, but fell in love with the design.
